Conduct field surveys to monitor elasmobranch populations in the Gulf of Gabès. Deploy and analyze Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems (BRUVs) to assess marine biodiversity. Collect and process environmental DNA (eDNA) samples for species detection. Measure and record biological data from specimens, including size, sex, and reproductive status. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Marine Biology, focusing on the conservation of elasmobranchs (sharks and rays) in the Gulf of Gabès. My research combines field surveys, BRUVs deployments, and environmental DNA (eDNA) techniques. I am motivated to contribute to international collaborations and apply my skills to support marine research and conservation initiatives.
