My duties for this position
consist of supervising students’ assignment and fieldworks at faculty. This is
the training on lakes, wetlands and rivers. To conduct research on themes
focused on plankton, macroinvertebrates, aquaculture and limno-microbiology in
these different ecosystems mentioned above.
Skills
I am suitable for fieldworks. I
manage to lead a research mission for the data collection in the sites from
African Great Lakes, wetland, rivers and streams. In the lab, I am one of the specialist
water analysts using spectrophotometer, and a number of probes kits for
physico-chemistry water analyses. I am acquainted with phytoplankton and
zooplankton identification, macro-invertebrates' identification and bacterial
cultures both in situ and ex situ. I am familiar with some statistical
softwares for data analysis also know the handling and processing of data using
the R and QGIS software.
